hi~everybody! i change my topic to "smoking"
The Dangers of Smoking
Each year, the third Thursday of November observes the great American Smokeout, sponsored by the American Cancer Society. The society hopes that this will raise the awareness of smokers of the many benefits to be gained by quitting smoking--not just on this one day, but at any time. Did you know--
Each year, 390,000 American die from the effects of smoking.
Cigarette smokers have more than twice the risk of heart attack.
Cigarette smokers have two to four times the chance of cardiac arrest.
Giving up smoking rapidly reduces the risk of heart disease. After a number of years, the risk of heart disease diminishes to the same level as a person who has never smoked.
A pregnant woman who smokes increases her baby's chances of infant crib death.
If you smoke, quit. And if you don't smoke, don't start. And remember, avoid long-term exposure to smoke and protect children from it.
Contact the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association to learn more about the dangers of smoking--and to get some tips on how to quit.

The Ad is so disgusting. Smoking is bad for healthy, but there are lots of people still smoke and the smoking products still have lots of ads to attract people. Well, no matter what, people still have their own choices.

The first ad is so hularious... It says a lot without saying a word. Love the way man gets rid of the smoker next to him.

Scaring video....but it is true, smoke really causes a lot disease, and also harmful to the people near you. Example: if you are pregant, it causes your baby; of you are someone's husband, you will causes your wife or your child, because they will become the second hand smoker.
ReplyDeleteAmazing ad, I liked how the man when he didn't have a common sense when he was smoking in front of the other man while that man was eating .The funny thing here was that the other man was passing gas and eating at the same time.

ReplyDeleteWow. This ad is so gross, but I think it's really effective. It really should scare people out of smoking because it shows how fatal and detrimental it really can be. Although, I wonder if the ad could also backfire because it's so unsettling to see that people might change the channel when it comes on. Still, I hope it scares some smokers into quitting.
